About the skill EMPATHY

Definition: Empathy is the ability to understand others' feelings and emotions, and see things from their point of view.

Types of Empathy
1. Affective Empathy

The ability to understand another person's emotions. This emotional understanding helps in developing the well-being of another person.

2. Somatic Empathy

It involves experiencing the other's feelings or emotions physically.

3. Cognitive Empathy

It involves the ability to understand another person's mental state and how they think in that particular situation.
